An insight is an avalanche in the mind.

What is Insight?

In this episode, we're going to take a look

into the mysterious nature of insight

and give you a list of steps for how to become more insightful.

Let's launch right off, not with theory, but with a couple of examples.

The first one is going to be a joke that I like to,

one of my favorite jokes that like to tell.

And at the very end of this joke,

as it gets to the end, there's of course the punchline.

And as in many jokes, the punch line can be both

insightful and it can be a re-contextualization so it's gonna be both in this

case so listen for it and see if you can get it see the nature of insight is

very slippery so you're only

getting one chance of this. A lot of times the trick with insights is that it's

sort of like the analogy that comes to mind is it's like a mysterious animal that is

rounding the corner down a long hallway you're looking down the hallway the

animal is crossing around the corner and all you catch is its tail. You don't

catch the whole animal you don't really know what it is but you catch the tail

you know you saw something but you don't quite know what and you can't quite put your

finger on it but that's because it was so fast right so pay attention here

because it's gonna be fast lightning fast all right so here's the joke
