What is heaven?

Before we can talk about what we're going to do there, what it's going to look like,

and all of those things which we're going to get into,

what will we be like there, a very important concept,

what are we talking about when we use the term?

Heaven, John 14, is Jesus's promise to his disciples about heaven.

He is getting ready to leave them because of the death and the resurrection

and the ascension to his father.

And they want to know how we're going to make it in your absence.

He says, why are you absent from me?

Let me tell you a little bit about heaven.

Because even though you're not with me, you need to know that I'm going to prepare a place for you.
