Hey, everybody. It is the evening of Wednesday, March 30th.

Just gone off of the phone with none other than Mr. Dave Sherapan.

And if you've watched any betting content, basically ever, you've probably seen his face more than once.

The guy is on more television shows,

radio shows, podcasts, really anything than anybody else in the industry. Maybe Whale is close.

Drew might be a close second, but I think Dave does more work than anybody. He has experience

as a bookmaker in Curacao, worked at a number of different

casinos in Las Vegas for Canter Gaming, knows the betting and bookmaking industry inside and out.

And he and I, every couple of months over the last few years, catch up over the phone.

And these phone calls tend to go in many different directions.

And today in the heels of the tweet that I sent out in regards to a release show and what Draf King's response to that was, he was quick to call me.

We spoke for about eight or nine minutes and then he said, we should make sure to this.

And I said, hang on, I'll go fire up the computer.

So I ran upstairs, send him the link.

He got on and we chatted for about another 45 minutes, got into a lot of what happened.

He provided a viewpoint from the book's perspective on how they handled it.

And then that sort of carried into a bigger conversation about the state of sports

betting content today. We got into the sort of conflict of interest between what books are

promoting, as well as what books are preventing. We got into a discussion about how for a lot of

successful betters, with it becoming more and more difficult

to bet, there's actually a case to be made that the EV or the expected return on doing

content could one day exceed the value of actually betting yourself, as crazy as that is to say.
