inside this old boombox. Oops, hope that spring wasn't important.

Oh well, don't you just love taking things apart?

In my opinion, it's the best way to see what's inside of them.

Even something that looks really simple, like a TV remote, has tons of little pieces inside that

make it work.

I've taken so many things apart over the years.

Let me think, golf carts, lawnmowers, washing machines, toilets, and chicken pot pies,

I can't get enough of it. There are some things I haven't been able to take apart yet, like DNA.

And I'm super curious because DNA is so important. You know how our bodies are made up of teeny tiny building blocks called cells?

Well, check this out.

Inside each cell are even smaller instructions on how to grow.

Those instructions are called DNA. So what's that made of? My

pal Bonnie have the same question. My name is Bonnie and I'm from Dallas

Texas. My question is what is DNA and how is it made?

So DNA is the stuff inside of our bodies, inside of our cells that allows our cells to know what kind of cell they have to be.

So it tells our skin cells to be a skin cell and it tells our muscle cells to become a muscle.
