0:21.2

Hey, I'm back for another video and this is a very, very important video.

0:25.5

It's entitled All Simors Simplified.

0:28.4

I think everyone needs to know this basic information because it's very important.

0:33.5

It's very simple and it can actually help you if you have Alzheimer's and even if you don't

0:40.5

what to do to prevent or avoid Alzheimer's. All right, here is the simplicity of what's

0:46.6

happening in Alzheimer's. The neurons, okay, that connect to other neurons, it's called the synapse,

0:54.5

are damaged. All right, they're damaged to the point where they can't use glucose fuel efficiently.

1:02.1

So they're basically starving to death. That's what's happening. If you starve anything to death,

1:08.8

it's not going to work right. In a normal aging brain, you're going to have a loss of glucose

1:13.6

uptake roughly about 10%, but only in the frontal lobe, okay, in the frontal lobe of your brain.

1:21.9

That is the part of the brain that is acting as like a relay switch to your database, your memories

1:29.5

involved in executive decisions like problem solving. And you may not even have any cognitive

1:36.5

deficits at all. No symptoms at all. Even with the 10% loss of glucose uptake, thank goodness we

1:43.5

have a lot of extra brain tissue to spare, right? But with an Alzheimer's brain, it's different.

1:50.0

We not only have a loss of glucose uptake in the frontal brain right here,

1:54.8

we also have in the pridele and the temporal lobe. So more of the brain is involved and the brain

2:00.2

just cannot absorb glucose very well anymore. So it's starving. So there goes the memory,

2:06.2

the spatial memory, not remembering where you put things. Where did I park my car? So here's

2:12.4

the good news. Keytones can be used as a fuel, believe it or not, as a preferred fuel,

2:21.4

to bypass this damage and feed the neurons, okay? I mean, that's actually really, really good
