Hey, girlfriends. How are you? Welcome to another episode of the Girlfriends Podcast. I'm happy that you're here. I'm happy to be connecting with you in this way. I'm tired. I'm recording this pretty early in the morning on Monday because I've got a full day, full on day ahead,

0:55.0

and it's just not stopping. I don't know about you, but the end of summer brings its own level of

1:33.8

it's been especially busy I feel like I've been especially distracted this summer with

1:38.7

supporting Dan as he's opening his business which has been great and I was just talking with him

1:43.3

about it last night because it has been great. And I was just talking with him about it last night

1:44.2

because it has been a sacrifice. And I'm trying very hard to not focus on the fact that it's

1:51.3

changed our summer in some negative ways. You know, we never got to the beach this summer. And looking

1:56.0

ahead, I don't think we're going to. I mean, we live at the lake. So, I mean, we have the lake beach.

2:01.7

I'm totally spoiled. But I just mean we didn't get to the ocean together as a family.

2:05.3

Usually we make, you know, at least a couple of trips. It's not far at all to get to the main coast.

2:10.4

But we didn't do that. And I was feeling bad about that. But you know what? It's so dumb because you can choose what to focus on. I can choose
