When I interview all these great salespeople, there's always a compelling why behind their success.

And a particular mindset that enables them to stay focused, stay excited, stay engaged,

and figure out how to sell their product into their marketplace.

And today's guest is no different, but this one I think you're really going to enjoy.

Because this rep, you know, had a hard beginning in sales, a call center, and a reseller.

And you've got to say, well, that's not what I do.

Okay, it's not what we're going to be talking about today.

What we're going to be talking to about today is how he's been able to be successful at his current company,

which is kind of a startup, a new idea into a very difficult market.

And the differentiators and the technical sale are really hard,

and he's come up with some creative ways of doing it.

But I think what you'll get out of this more than anything is what if you had kind of that puzzle mindset,

where you looked at how to sell what you're selling into your market like a puzzle.

And your job is to solve the puzzle.

Now this, it's a very empowering mindset, because what it does is it takes it away from your identity as a person,

whether they like you or not.

And it turns into how do we do it?

How do we solve it?

And each deal is a little bit different of a puzzle, a lot of different variables in there.

But that curiosity, that passion for solving that puzzle can be very empowering.

And it gives you this kind of feeling that it's an intellectual challenge versus just a hustle and grind slog.

Because B2B activity is one of the ingredients, but it's not the only ingredient.
