Welcome to the annual. If we were were general manager this is how we would fix

the yankees episode but also kind of realistic maybe kind of realistic but we've done that in the

past and that's not as fun as is just saying fuck it um they now i know where you're going someone

not not to foreshadow or anything but

okay here we go this is like expecting a lot of i expect some Andrew bold prediction ask GM plans

this is like the uh oh Logan and I went down some rabbit holes last night so this is a fourth or

fifth or six year that we've done this. I don't know about

you guys. It was this year I was the most torn between essentially bring the same team back or

completely blow it up to smithereens. Yeah, I and I were on the phone for about two hours last night going through a lot of these things as well.

And, you know, the first thing I said to him when I got back on is like, man, I just don't see a lot of obvious things to do to improve this team, especially through free agency.

There's just a bunch of old dudes in free agency.

Washed up old names in free agency is what I really see. And then you're looking at the trade

market and you're identifying other teams that can benefit from the pieces that you have. And

there were a lot of fits that weren't great. and then and then some that you really had to go

looking for. So yeah, I agree with you. I think this was this was one of the tougher ones. And

honestly, you know, as much as the Yankees say this and they, they didn't say it as much as they

have in the past in the press conference, but they probably could have. I actually do think that this team, the one that they had, was probably the closest that they've

that they've had construction-wise, roster construction-wise, and actually did get nabbed by
