because, well, it has kept us from losing our shit

for the last couple of years, mostly.

Now, back in the before times,

Troubled Waters would pit two teams of comedians

against each other in a pop culture battle royale. But now, guess what? It's the end of 2021. It's the beginning of 2022. I went to New York

last week to go to some Esquire holiday events, to go see a matinee of company, to go see LCT

Sound System at Brooklyn Steel. All of these things we now know

were super spreader events. I somehow

am negative still. I don't understand

how that happened. I need Professor X to tell me

how to like fight crime with that

because I apparently do have some sort of superpower. I hope

the same is true for you. If you are positive as 95% of the people I know are,

I hope that you are asymptomatic,

or at least mildly symptomatic.

All of this to say, we can't be in person still.
