Creativity is hard. Being commercially accessible and what I do is hard.

Thinking about stuff long term, like in terms of investments, in terms of finances,

in terms of where we're going to be five, 10, 15 years down the road, which is the, you know,

a skill that I have is hard. We talk about fame, stability, and the myth of the hot new thing

and about what happens when you stop chasing everything

and start building something that lasts.

And so having that constant repetition of no and understanding that that is actually

part of the process like saved me so much, you know, mental anguish.
