Let me give you guys this over here the October revolution led to an establishment of socialist state in the Soviet Union that

brought a significant social and economic changes including some

advancements in literacy health healthcare, and industrialization.

However, this came at the cost of a widespread repression, authoritarianism, and economic inefficiencies,

and essentially the collapse of the socialist revolution.
