Looking forward to a day where I get the intro with, it's game day. I miss that. I miss that already.

Hopefully we'll get to do it a little bit during Summer League here in a few weeks. But that said, this is a very, very exciting time of year, right?

The NBA finals, congrats to the New York Knicks. They win the NBA championship. But now,

now things really pick up. Now we've got free agency coming up. Of course, the draft coming up on

June 23rd. The Lakers right now can negotiate with their own free agents. That includes a guy that we're going to talk a lot about tonight.

And that is Austin Reeves.

They can negotiate with Rui Hachamuro with Jackson Hayes with anybody else who is a free agent.

Remember, we also have June 29th coming up.

That's going to be a really important day too.

That maybe we're not talking enough about.

That's the date.

The Marcus Smart, DeAndre Aiton and Nick Smith, Jr. have to have their

options decided upon. Technically, Austin Reeves as well, though, frankly, we already know

what he's going to decide on that. Nick Smith Jr. is a team option. Austin Reeves, Marcus

Smart, DeAndre Aton, all player options. Now, we could hear before then on any of those, but that is the drop dead date.

That is the deadline for those decisions to be made on those player and team options.

That's June 29th.

And then free agency officially begins on June 30th.

And we know things get crazy.

Summer League starts on July 9th.

We've got so much going on around the NBA and around the Los Angeles Lakers.
