Heather Elvis was 19 in 2013. She was figuring out her path in life and was working as a hostess while studying cosmetology.

At her workplace, the Tilted Kilt pub, Heather came across another employee, 37-year-old Sidney Moorer. Sidney was married to Tammy Moorer and the couple had children together. Heather fell for Sidney and the two had a brief affair.

Tammy found out about their relationship and set out to make both Sidney and Heather’s lives hell. Reports say that Tammy used to handcuff Sidney their bed so that he could not leave the home and she made him get her name tattooed on his crotch.

When rumor started spreading that Heather may have been pregnant, Sidney asked to meet with her very early one morning in December 2018. Heather has never seen seen alive again.

Sidney and Tammy are currently serving long prison sentences for kidnapping Heather. The couple were originally also charged with murder but these charges were dropped without prejudice, meaning they can be recharged at any time.

In this episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss the disappearance and probable murder of Heather Elvis.
