Patsy Ramsey woke up early on December 26, 1996. She and her husband John had plans to travel with their two children, Burke and JonBenet to see family for Christmas. As Patsy got to the staircase in their Boulder, Colorado home, she came across a ransom note.

What happened next is infamous in the true crime world. JonBenet Ramsey (6) was missing. Police came to the home. It wasn’t until hours later that the entire house would be searched and JonBenet’s lifeless body would be found in the basement.

This month marks the 27th anniversary of JonBenet’s death. Nobody has ever been arrested in connection with her murder.

In this episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss the murder of JonBenet Ramsey.
