Zero tolerance. Nothing personal and word of the day for Monday, August 9, 2021 is zero tolerance.

I tried not to use the word zero tolerance because it makes you look bad when all the sudden

things happen that you have zero tolerance for and you can't do anything about it or you don't

do enough about it so that it happens again. You can say people say I have zero tolerance towards

something. That's hyperbole. I have zero tolerance for that type of behavior. Your parents would say

that to you, your teacher, zero tolerance. When you are doing a statement and you put zero tolerance,

you're doing that because that's what you're supposed to have, not what you do have. When you open

up a ballpark to 25,000 people or would 30,000 or 5,000, depending on the team that you're the

president of, it's hard to say you have zero tolerance of anything because as a consequentialist,

I would say if something happens, then clearly you had tolerance for it because you didn't do

something about it. Now you're going to tell me that's terrible, David. You can't stop things from

happening. You can't control what people say or what people do. I'm not so sure. We're talking about
