Welcome to our daily Rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

One of the most demanding aspects of the Fourth Commandment is the way it continues to follow

children even after they leave the home. Of course it's hard for kids to follow the Fourth

Commandment. It's hard for kids to follow the Fourth Commandment.

It's hard for anybody to live under someone else's rule,

especially when that someone else,

the parents in this case, are imperfect. They're valuable. All parents have weaknesses. But to leave home

to experience the freedom of being on your own, to become an adult, someone with authority

of your own, maybe even kids of your own, to have all that, and yet still to continue to be deferential and considerate and affectionate and

above all to honor your parents that can be really hard for some people, but it's what God's law requires.

Our Father who art in heaven, hollow would be your name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil,

Amen.
