Good morning my friends welcome back to the morning mindset and I realize you may

be listening to this at a time it is not actually morning even though I say

good morning I welcome anyway it doesn't really make a difference to me when you listen, as long as you listen and get your mind aligned with God's truth because that makes a difference, not just for you, but for those you come in contact with

and for the body of Christ at large.

We all are grown and strengthened as other parts, other members of the body grow in their faith as well. We're digging into the letter

that Paul wrote to the Galatian Church and we're in chapter 1 looking at

verses 6 7 and eight and Paul is addressing

the concerns that he has about this group of believers. You see word has reached him

that some of them are being drawn away from the purity of their faith in Jesus Christ and Paul was not one to back away from a

situation that needed to be addressed. And so here in

verse six he says I'm astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who

called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel,

which is really no gospel at all.

Evidently, some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the Gospel of Christ.

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preach

to you, let them be under God's curse.

As we've already said, so now I say again, if anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you

accepted, let them be under God's curse. I think

it's pretty clear how Paul feels about this don't you? He is very passionate about protecting the faith of the people he has led to

faith in Christ through clarity about what it is they actually believe.

You see, our faith in Christ sometimes can feel kind of nebulous, it can feel kind of ambiguous,

it's just, yeah, I believe in Jesus. But Paul's making the point, there is something
