An indictment was unsealed today charging eight southeast Michigan men with running a sophisticated car theft and international

smuggling operation. This was actually a couple of months ago. Charged were Abbas al-Othman, 42 of

Deerborn Heights, Mohamed al-Hilo of Detroit,

Haidar al-Hadari of Garden City,

Karar al-Nakash of Detroit,

Mustafa al-Fatlawi of Dearborn Heights,

and Muhammad al-Aad Abdubi of

Detroit.

They stole cars.
