Some people were shocked to hear that the richest man in the world, the founder of Tesla

and SpaceX would spend that much to buy a social media company that over a history has

mostly lost money but not will.

It's hard to be stunned by anything Musk does.

He's a guy these days who enjoys provoking.

He enjoys sparking conversation and outrage and trolling people and as long as he's the

center of attention he seems to be pretty happy.

I think the only really surprising thing here is the idea that he might actually want

the responsibility of running this platform that is probably going to make him hate it

by a lot of people no matter what he does.
