You know, it's a commonly used term among us, but probably really misunderstood concept

the vital subject of grace? Well, I think we can start with an old definition that most of us

learned in Sunday school or Bible school or whatever. The grace kind of as an acronym is God's

riches at Christ's expense. But that's actually well said, I think, even though that seems kind

and simple, it really is true. That these are riches from God. They're not ours. They're at Christ's

expense. Nothing we can earn a deserve or it's not grace. Another way to say that, if you want to

think of it this way, mercy is not getting what you do deserve. It's mercy to not be punished for

your sins or failures. Grace is getting what you don do deserve. It's mercy to not be punished for your sins or failures. Grace is getting what

you don't deserve. Grace is, again, riches from the Lord Jesus at his own expense. This grace,

this concept of grace is at the very heart of the Christian gospel. Ephesians 2 says it's by grace

that you're saved through faith, that not of yourselves. It's the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. In fact, as I've taught world religions and traveled the world over the years, I've often said that grace is what makes Christianity different from every other religion, a worldview on earth. All the other worldviews are a man's attempt to climb up to God,

the Tower of Babel or it might be the legalism of Judaism, by the four noble truths and a faithful
