Don't hold anything too tightly. Just wish for it, want it, let it come from the intention

of real truth for you, and then let it go.

Today I have the pleasure of interviewing two incredible women, Michelle Fisher and Amber

Winnick. Michelle is a curator of contemporary decorative arts at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston,

and Amber is a design historian whose research focuses around maternal and child related

designs, policies, and practices around the world. For the past seven years, they've been working

on a project that I'm eager to talk about today. It's called Designing Motherhood, which is a

fascinating book, exhibition, series of public programs, and design curriculum that explores how

designs from the menstrual cup to the breast pump to baby blankets have impacted reproductive health

over the past 100 years. What's interesting about Designing Motherhood is how Michelle and Amber
