Welcome everybody and today on our podcast we're going to be listening to a great teacher,

his name is Bill McKeever. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, he is just a wonderful man,

a great heart for Mormon believers, for LDS believers. He's got a ministry called Mormonism Research

Ministry. It's located at mrm.org, www.mrm.org and Bill is definitely a friend of ours who teaches our

groups every year when we go out to Salt Lake City to evangelize and to just kind of dialogue really

with LDS believers, both on the street and when door to door and provo, and when we are out

actually at BYU and other locations where we have a chance to come on the streets of Utah to

communicate with and dialogue with LDS believers. In order to do that you really get prepared

in a number of ways and you have to have a heart that is not about confrontation and argument but

is really about trying to reach people with the truth. What strikes me about Bill is that he has

that heart and I got to tell you, he takes a beating online. It's almost as though if you present

anything that tries to explain the truth relative to what Mormonism teaches. If you want to, for

example, present the real history of, say, the book of Abraham or the internal problems that the

theology has related to salvation and the impossible gospel. I mean, if you take on this mission,

you're going to be labeled an anti-Mormon really quickly and that label kind of comes with an

notion that you hate Mormons and this is why you're in the game. And to be honest with you,

if that's why you are in the game then get out. We need to be in this because we have a broken

heart for those who don't have the truth. I get that sense from Bill. That's really where he comes
