Good morning my friends. Welcome back. It is time for the morning mindset once again.

Yesterday's passage was quite challenging, wasn't it? If you haven't listened to the episode we published yesterday from

0:13.4

John chapter 14, I encourage you to go back and do so. We talked a lot about what it

0:18.8

takes to believe the things that Jesus says when they don't square up with preconceived ideas that we have.

0:25.4

It's a very important step in our faith to be able to let God to let Jesus be God and

0:32.3

to express what he expresses with the extreme words he expresses and

0:36.5

1:17.2

remember Jesus is on his way to the cross. I mean literally so. It's the night

1:22.2

before he is crucified and he is speaking with

1:26.4

his disciples kind of preparing them for all of the things that are about to happen and ultimately

1:31.6

for his departure from the earth.

1:34.0

And he says to them here in verse 13, whatever you ask in my name, this I will do that my father

1:40.8

may be glorified in the son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

1:47.0

All right now do you see what I mean? Just such a direct clear instruction that feels a little I don't know for me it feels a little hard to

1:59.8

believe because it sounds too good to be true.
