Welcome back my friends. Thanks for joining me for the morning mindset today. It is time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

The truth of God.

There is such a thing as truth, my friends.

And we are bound as believers in Christ

to align ourselves with that truth as God sees it.

The reason I say that we are bound is because Jesus makes it very clear that as his followers,

our lives are to take on certain characteristics that are aligned with what he wills, with what he desires.

The passage that we looked at yesterday, which we're going to continue talking about today, makes that very clear.

John chapter 14 verse number 15 Jesus said,

if you love me, you will keep my commandments.

You see Jesus is saying that relationship,

true relationship, where we are committed to the person,

we're devoted to them and to their welfare means that we take corresponding

actions to flesh out that commitment and that devotion. And Jesus is saying

this relationship that you have with me that I've initiated, I have brought about through

creating in you the desire to believe in me and then me stepping into your life to fulfill that need.

That relationship is one that is to grow and your commitment, your part in that relationship is to be expressed

through devotion.

And the way he characterizes it in this verse is for us to obey his commandments.

Now think about that. When you are in love with someone, when

you're truly in love, you deeply in love, you begin wanting to do things that you know please
