Well, hello there. It's Morgan here and welcome to today's episode. This is episode two of three

of a series where I take a poem from my new book, You Are Only Just Beginning, which comes out

February 14th, and I unpack it and I give you a question to carry with you. And one little note

that I mentioned yesterday, but I want to just

mention it again is that this was my very first time attempting to record and also film myself

at the same time. So you are going to get a little bit of sound from the room that I was

recording in.

I did try to remove some of that, but I don't think it's too terribly much,

and I think you'll still be able to enjoy this episode.

What do you want community to look like from now on?

That is the question I'm asking in this poem.

Over time, community will change.

Someone will move.

Distance will grow.

Sometimes it aches to let our present become our past.

Hold space for the beauty of what was and still is.

Please trust there is more to come.

I wrote this poem in some reflections about elephants.

I'm very inspired by elephants.

I always have been.
