| 0:26.0 | Harvard has just released the 35th National Youth Poll conducted by the Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School. |
| 0:34.0 | And this poll is important because it examines the political opinions and civic engagement of young Americans ages 18 to 29. |
| 0:41.0 | This matters because everybody's talking about millennials and what you all will hear soon about it, the post-millennials. |
| 0:47.0 | And what they're thinking about, what they want, what will they do in 2018, and Harvard has got the numbers that nobody else has. |
| 0:54.0 | I'm going to have this conversation today. I care about this not just because I'm a millennial, but because everybody wants to beat up on the young people in the political arena. |
| 1:03.0 | Everyone wants to tell us what it is that we need, what it is that we want. |
| 1:06.0 | Folks are hypothesizing about what will bring us out instead of going and talking directly to the young folks and just asking us, you know, how do we feel about this? |
| 1:15.0 | How do we feel about that? Well, Harvard has consistently done this for over 35 semesters, and I'm looking forward to jumping into these numbers. |
