Today on the show I talk to Betsy West and Julie Cohen, the creators of RBG, a documentary

about the great Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I wanted to chat with them because I'm a big RBG stan, first of all, but secondly, the

film is amazing and introduces an entirely new generation to an incredible figure.

I'm sure you guys have been doing a lot of press and thinking about the film a lot.

And I'm sure you've been asked this question, but I would love to hear the answer.

How did you decide to make this film?

I know that you asked her years ago and she wasn't ready.

How long was that process and what did it look like?

Yeah.

So, you know, RBG in recent years has become a real pop icon, even a rock star, among millennials

in particular.
