What did we learn from Bo Nix and the Broncos first preseason game, Henry?

You know, it was up and down. There were some good throws, there were some bad throws.

I think the offense generally moved the ball pretty well with that one terrible drive that I'm sure we're going to talk a lot about, excluded.

The throw to Cortland Sutton, for example, over the shoulder, drops it in the bucket, court can't hold on.

I think there are a couple tough breaks like that, but in general, kind of shaky from Bo.

And that's before you even talk about the safety.

No, without a doubt, Henry, I mean, the crazy thing about that, though, is we're looking, despite Bo having a tough game himself, we're

looking at this entire game so differently from Bo Nix's lens. If Cortland Sutton catches

a ball that was placed perfectly in his hands. I think that changes everything. Broncos, I think

would be in San Francisco's territory after that catch. And then you're rocking and rolling. You just had a very big time play there. Bo's feeling it. You probably go down and score a touchdown. And now it is against the second string 49ers defense, but it's still like, okay, we're feeling good. I think that first drive was the first drive in Bo Nix's preseason career where he didn't score. So like he's good at scoring

in the preseason. I think he would have done it. And the crazy thing is like if anyone, if I'm

going to trust anyone on this Broncos team to catch that ball, it's Cortland Sutton. He just

wasn't able to come up with it. That hurt Bo. And then it's not like Bo was perfect. I mean,

not a great pass to RJ Harvey later. But man,

even with like not the best game from Bo, if another player helps him out there and just does

his job in Cortland Sutton, we're talking about like Bo looking really good despite still

having a lot of things to improve. Well, that's the problem with such a small sample size,

is one thing changes can alter the entire course of this, you know,

however many play sample.

I thought Bo looked confident.

I thought he looked comfortable.

I thought he looked strong.
