Well, someone really blew it at the BAFTAs.

That's right. Paddington the Bear got up and presented an award at the Bafas and he bombed big time. It started out well enough when he told a joke about what would have happened if he had arrived at a different train station in London. Could you imagine if he had been called St. Pancras the bear? But he completely lost the audience when he said he wished he could be eating a marmalade sandwich right now, but he didn't want to get marmalade all over the BAFTA Award.

Some people said he should be sent to comedy prison, similar to how he was sent to prison in Paddington, too.

Amy, what were your thoughts on Paddington's BAFTA performance?

I thought so, too. It was, have you seen the clips going viral of Paddington's BAFTA performance. Lock him up. I thought so too. It was,

I didn't see him present. I just saw him on the red carpet looking cute. I do, I would go see that Paddington show. I'm kind of curious. Oh, I know. I really, we, you know, this is a Paddington household. Yeah. We, I own Paddington one on Apple TV movies. Um, uh, Penny has a Paddington doll life size. Um, so we're kind of like that is the last sort of piece of the Paddington puzzle that we need to pursue for Penny if we ever want to

get that whole, the whole Paddington legacy. But I've heard it's great. We have friends who went.

Yeah. I've heard it's nice. Yeah. So I don't really care. I mean, I wish that people would have done a

little more sort of like just even if you don't think his jokes were funny, I wish that the BAFTA audience would have been a little more supportive and even just fake laugh through it. The jokes were really, really, you know, bad, obviously. But I just wish that they could have been like, hey, it's a puppet bear up here. Like, let's just be, at least even pretend that we find this stuff funny. But that, it was in London, right? This, uh, the award show. I believe so. Did we even have a way to watch it? Uh, I only saw the Paddington clip and nothing else from the Bafters. So, uh, I, I just only saw that. Yeah, that was the worst thing that happened. So I just saw that,

but I just think that that stiff upper lip thing that British people do, sometimes you've got to

release the stiff upper lip from your mouth and let your mouth open with laughter. And I wish that

they would have given Paddington a little more of the benefit of the doubt. That's just my two cents. He's no Ricky Jervase. No. And they would have loved if Ricky, well, you could you imagine if Ricky Jervase had been at the Bafters? I don't even know if he would have been, we would be able to handle it culturally. Paddington should have come out with a Guinness. Oh, and split the G. Yeah. Did Ricky Jervais ever come out with a Guinness?

He, like, always did. The Golden Gloves, remember he would have a beer at all times. It was like his

little crutch. Oh, I didn't ever knew that. I haven't really seen much of what Ricky Jervase has done

post British office, but that's awesome. Yeah, he would have,
