Today, we'll look at the same topic, but from a theological perspective.

What did early Christians, the apostles, and the church fathers believe about the Mass?

We'll look at the writings of St. Paul, the Acts of the Apostles, and two of the early

church fathers from the 2nd century, to see if the Eucharist and the Mass were ever seen

as simply symbolic.

Or was there a continuous belief that the sacrifice of the cross and the mass were one and the same?

Father McGilvery, it's good to have you back again this week.

We were just talking off, off camera.

You said when we recorded exactly this time last week, you were starting to feel sick.

Now you're just getting over it. A solid week long, all awful cold flu? Sorry. Yeah, it was not fun,

but especially when you're when your apostolate takes place in a school.

There's all kinds of germs circulating at all times.

So one gets used to being sick, a good part of the year.

It's my kids, whenever they got into kindergarten or preschool or whatever, that first year, it was homesick like five or six times.

Absolutely.
