And today we're going to answer the question, or try to answer the question, what is doing good in relation to law and in the

sphere of politics? I begin to answer that question by making this statement.

If Christianity is restoring the image of God in a person by the indwelling of Christ,

who's the image of God, And what does that mean in relation to law

and the exhortation of Peter in his first letter

that in the context of discussing rulers, he says, do good.

What I hope to do today is to show how we think about the answer to that question

will help us think more clearly about our charge to disciple the nations,

which should help us perhaps better understand the conversation about Christian nationalism

and what a Christianized nation would be. But before I get into that I want to clarify

something I said in the last episode two weeks ago, took off for July the 4th,

hope you survived the absence of the podcast. But I mentioned in that

episode or I talked about in that

the episodes of beauty. For a quick refresher on the meaning of that word,

metaphysics is an inquiring into,

or an inquiry into the nature of a thing, what it is, which then informs our understanding

of what we're to do with that thing.
