Summary
There are very few activities more unifying than sports. Host Joseph Backholm is joined by Patrick Gilliam, head coach of Wheaton College's women's soccer program, for a discussion about the genuine integration of faith and sport. Sports offer a unique training ground for the nurturing and cultivation of many beneficial life habits. Coach Gilliam shares his story of finding Christ through college athletics, how athletes can use their skills to glorify the Lord, and answers the question: Is it wrong for Christians to want to win? A team built around love, discipleship, and multiplication, is a team that glorifies God and lives out the two great commandments. Sports were intentionally designed by God, listen now to learn how they can bring God glory.
