Summary
If you listened to last week’s episode, you know this series isn’t about demonizing the internet or pretending we can all move to the woods. That would be nice sometimes— real life gets exhausting. Uncomfortable. Hard. Confusing. But also, it is soooooooo good and so sweet— and my fear? That we miss so much of that. Not because we aren’t “spiritual enough” or because our faith is lacking; it is simply due to a lack of awareness.Online isn’t the enemy.Constant availability is.When we live perpetually “on,” something in us begins to thin out—our awareness, our presence, our capacity to receive what God is actually doing right in front of us.**More in-depth notes and outlines on https://cleerelystated.substack.com/

| 0:39.7 | kind of being stolen from us and just an awareness. I mean, so much of life is that we would not be |

| 0:51.3 | indicators to then commune with Jesus. What is he asking us to pay attention to? |

| 1:12.6 | And disconnecting is not about escape. This is so important, okay? Disconnecting is not about |
| 1:18.4 | escape. It's not about running away from something. It is about returning to Jesus. That is two |
| 1:23.8 | very different things. When we step out of constant awareness and availability, something |
| 1:29.3 | quiet but profound begins to happen. And honestly, the older I get, the more that I'm really |
| 1:35.6 | yearning to cultivate a quiet life, right? And scripture talks about that. I think it's in |
| 1:41.9 | First Thessalonians when it speaks to the power of a quiet life. |
