Summary

When we find ourselves in challenging times, we can let fear and uncertainty overpower our trust in God. We question his abilities and oftentimes, as a result, we let it get in the way of our obedience. As we continue our collection of talks ‘Small Faith,” Pastor Tim Timberlake shares a pivotal message titled “What Can You Find?” The disciples had witnessed Jesus perform countless miracles, yet when they found themselves at a key turning point they still wondered how he would feed five thousand. Similarly, we too can ask how God will work a miracle in our lives when faced with fear. Even though the disciples questioned and maybe even hesitated, they still followed his instructions. When we choose to obey God despite our doubt, we unlock his blessings. Acting out in faith, no matter how small, is more than enough for him to work wonders.

0:30.0	And to be able to watch what God is doing through this incredible movement called Vood Church is so inspiring and so life-changing for us and so many people around the world that have the opportunity to watch what God is doing.
0:44.0	And so I consider it a high honor to be able to speak to you and talk to you today for a moment in this collection of talks entitled Small Faith.
0:55.0	And so I want to share with you as we are on this journey of discovering what God desires for us and this collection of talks, Small Faith, from the subject matter, what can you find?
1:06.0	I'll be in Mark chapter 6, verse 33, and it says, now many saw them going and recognized them and they ran their own foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them.
1:18.0	And when he went ashore, he saw a great crowd and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd.
1:28.0	And he began to teach them many things and when it grew late his disciples came to him and said, this is a desolate place and the hour is now late.
1:40.0	Send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.
1:47.0	But he answered them, you give them something to eat.
1:50.0	And they said to him, shall we go and buy 200 denari worth of bread and give it to them to eat? And he said to them, how many loaves do you have?
2:01.0	Go and see.
2:02.0	And when they had found out, they said five and two fishes.
2:07.0	Then he commanded them all to sit down and groups on green grass.
2:11.0	And so they sat down and groups by hundreds and by 50s.
2:15.0	And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and he said, a blessing and broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to sit before the people.
2:26.0	And he divided the two fish among them all.
2:30.0	And they all ate and were satisfied.
2:33.0	And they took up 12 baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish.
2:38.0	And those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.
