I'm Jay Warner Wallace.

This week we're going to talk about something, and really for the next two weeks we're

going to talk about something that I have written about extensively at coldcasechristianity.com.

I've also done a number of podcasts over the last seven or eight years on this topic

in one variety or another. And I've also done broadcast here that you've seen at the NRB

network. If you've been watching our show on a weekly basis, I'll bet you'll see that we've

actually talked about this before in some fashion or other as we've kind of gone through our different series of events and topics.

Now, I can tell you that this is something that's very near and dear to my heart as somebody who

worked for a number of years as a youth pastor and observed the flight of young people from Christianity.

And I do think that even the most recent Pew

research study, which we talked about here, kind of indicates that at least Christianity is having

a diminished impact in our culture. And those folks who would no longer consider themselves

affiliated with any religious denomination or any religious belief system, those who would say

they belong are affiliated with none, the rise of the nuns, those people are increasing.

And that's the one group that seems to be increasing most dramatically in America while Christians
