0:27.6	four little ones. Every day I have the privilege of working with moms at all stages of motherhood,
0:33.7	from pregnancy to labor and delivery, to postpartum and beyond. Today I'm super excited to be able to come
0:40.6	and talk to you about using natural products with your babies safely. So why should we use
0:47.0	natural products and doTERRA essential oils with babies? We know that there are a lot of toxins
0:53.8	in the environment that we can't control.
0:56.8	And as a mom, sometimes that can feel super overwhelming to me. What we know that we can control is
1:02.6	what's in our internal environment. We can control what we put on baby's skin and in their bodies
1:08.2	and what we use in our personal home environment. So how can we
1:12.7	use essential oils safely with our babies in our home? There are a few things to keep in mind when
1:19.2	you're using them. One of my favorite ways to use essential oils with babies is topically. There are a few
1:25.7	things to keep in mind when we're using them topically. One is that
1:28.9	they are much littler than we are, so a little bit goes a long way, and you'll want to make
1:34.4	sure that you dilute them properly. One of my favorite ways to dilute essential oils with babies
1:39.9	is to use the baby lined of tarolotion. It's a little bit of a thicker carrier, especially
1:46.4	with sensitive skin. Or you can use Dutera's unscented spa lotion on babies, and it makes a really,
1:52.7	really great carrier to use on them safely. You can also use Dutera's fractionated coconut oil
1:58.2	as a quick and convenient way to apply essential oils safely with babies.
2:02.8	The younger your baby, the less amount of oils you're going to need and the greater the dilution.
