All right. So Gary, the topic of this week's podcast is what gets you together versus what

keeps you together. So let's kick this thing off, dude, and tell me, what got you together with your

wife? Let's just get personal, baby. All right. Well, you know, as someone who has studied

relationships as long as I have and has done a bunch of science on relationships, I should have a really, really profound answer.

Yeah, you should.

The secret to success, right? I don't have that. What I have is the honest answer, which is just simply, my wife's hot.

And so I kind of knew who she was. I found out she was, you know, about to move in upstairs. I saw her kind of moving her stuff in. I was like, yeah, she should go talk to her. And then, you know, that's really all it took. And one thing led to another. And here we are today 20 years later. Are you sure you're a professor and not like a college student calling your wife hot to start that off that way? I love it. Do you say that to your students? I don't call them hot, but I use that exact term. I will tell them. This is a very technical term. Yeah, just hot. I love it. I love it. So how about you? How did you and Jess get together? What was the secret sauce? Oh, well, it was New Year's Day, 2015, after a pretty wild night at this bar. So I stayed there all night that night with my friend. I was in a pretty wild time of my life. And then I woke up the next morning. He's like, you know, it's better than New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.

And I got these girls that I want to meet there.

I'm like, done and done.
