What I've learned my friends over the years and a lesson that I continue to learn is that

integrity is the only thing, the only lesson, the only way of being that never bites back.

There is no blowback from integrity or if there is, you are still okay with it because you

are at peace knowing that what you are doing is the right thing. Have you ever had a boss,

for example, or have you ever known someone who's like cut

corners and they don't fulfill their promises? And they're doing things that are kind of

borderline just not cool. I mean, maybe they're not illegal or breaking the law or totally

drastic. But there are these kind of mini integrity breaches that you see again and again.

I've seen this and I've observed this with people.

Maybe, for example, they've got some negative things to say about somebody, but in their

presence they're really sweet to them.

Or maybe they throw out an opinion or a judgment, but then you see them act totally

differently in another setting. I have a fable for you

today on this, my friends, which is a good one. It is called the shepherd and the wolf. A shepherd once found

the whelp of a wolf and brought it up, and after a while taught it to steal lambs from the neighbouring flocks.

So the shepherd found a young wolf brought it up and taught it to steal lambs from its, say, rivals.

The wolf having shown himself an apt pupil, said to the shepherd,

since you have taught me to steal, you must keep a sharp lookout, or you will lose

some of your own flock. Wrongdoing, oh my gosh, I want to say always, but I don't love to say

the word always. I will say almost always turns its back on the teacher. It's not what we say. It's not

words that teach. It's our actions. It's our energy. I mean, really think about that. Who do we
