0:09.0	In the time it takes to get to work, I'm Patrick Miller. Normally if you go to a holiday meal you bring some food
0:15.8	with you to share at least in the Midwest you do that. But I recently read a story
0:19.9	about an aunt who came to every family holiday meal with empty Tupperware.
0:24.8	Don't worry, she wasn't trying to offer everyone imaginary food, quite the opposite.
0:29.8	At the end of every meal, she'd pull out her Tupperware and take significant amounts of
0:34.1	leftovers from the host and everyone else who brought food.
0:37.8	She never really asked to do it.
0:39.6	She just did it.
0:40.6	She pulled out the plastic and went to town while everybody else was cleaning up.
0:44.0	Now, there are much worse things to do in the world, but this aunt clearly felt entitled.
0:50.0	She felt entitled to show up without having done any work, to leave before doing any cleaning,
0:55.6	and to leave with enough food for days to boot.
0:58.5	She never said thank you.
0:59.8	It was just a given.
1:01.9	Chances are that you're not that extreme, but let's be honest, we all feel
1:06.0	we are entitled to some things even if we never say it out loud. If a friend gets a raise, we
1:11.6	feel entitled to get a raise too.
1:14.1	If you go to college, you feel entitled to have someone else pay for your education.
1:19.5	If you go to a store, you feel entitled to have everything you want in stock always kids feel entitled to treats after
1:27.2	dinner maybe you feel entitled to respect and deference of the people who are
1:31.3	lower on the org chart than you are.
