The COP 27, which took place from the 6th to 20th November, in Charmashik, Egypt, has thus come to an end,

leaving many of its observers with mixed feeling.

In today's episode, Natasha Gerda, head of research at Astoria, provides you with the main

points to remember.

The Cup 27, which is the Conference of Parties number 27 that was held in Sherman Shake,

brought together more than

45,000 participants with the idea of sharing solutions, build partnerships and coalitions around

climate change. While many may be disappointed with the outcome, there are still progress,

although slow, too slow, some

some would say. But the big win was clearly the loss and damage fund and the major dissatisfaction,

the low progress on emission reductions versus last year's commitments at Glasgow.

So last year at COP 26, we heard calls such as Code Red for Humanity or Humanity's last chance to save the planet or civilization.

This year in Egypt, UN Secretary General Antonio Gutieres' warning was even more alarming.

He stated, and I quote,

our current trajectory places us on a highway to climate hell

with our foot still on the accelerator.

So factors, facts proving right.

Many reports recently published share the same conclusion.

The world remains far off track the limits of climate change to the levels committed to the Paris Agreement.

Current states implemented reduction policies actually leads us towards a warming of 2.8 centigrade degrees.
