This is a bonus edition. This time of year typically wouldn't have a podcast coming out on a Saturday. But yesterday,

the Lakers announced that they have signed Dennis Schrooter brought him back to the team.

$2.6 million deal good for one year. And this announcement has created more questions than answers. I've got a lot of them.

And honestly, I can't shut my brain off. As I'm recording this, it's late Friday,

early Saturday. And there are so many different things that I've got pinging around in my head

about what we can infer from the Lakers adding Dennis Schrooter and how this roster is actually

going to play together. What Darbinham has to work with. All of this, of course, wrapping up to the big question, what are the Lakers doing? What is this roster that they're trying to put together? What's the identity of this team? What is it exactly that they're going for? And there's a lot of other things to get wrapped up in that. Are they going to make a trade here?

Why is Dennis Schroeder suddenly a Laker? We've got a lot to talk about. So what I've done is I've compiled all of the reporting around this story. And there's been a pretty decent amount of it to try to get some type of sense. And I've done a little bit of checking on my own as well,

as to what's actually happening here with your Los Angeles Lakers.
