Welcome on the last Duncked on of the week here.

Big show yesterday on Duned on Prime we discussed three of the teams in the Pacific Division,

Phoenix Sacramento, and the LA Clippers still have the Lakers and

warriors to go. We will talk about them as the trade deadline approaches.

Let's begin though with what's come down the pike here on news. I think we should

start in Memphis with the reporting that Marcus Smart is going to be

sidelined for about six weeks to do an issue with his right ring finger. This, you know, you can't say that this is, you know, because of Jaborance or anything like that,

but it is an indication of how when, you know, when a season can kind of go sideways,

it can continue to propel in that direction.

And so now two of Memphis's main creators are out for an extended period time job, of course, out for

the year.

Marcus Smart now, so if we're looking at six weeks

that's after the all-star break that's you know we're after the trade deadline and so

Memphis has struggled in the non- jaw games and now they're gonna struggle struggled in the non-jaw games and now they're going to struggle probably in the non-jaw, non-smart games.

Yeah, I mean, and we've seen when they've tried to play Derek Rose that he is generally going to get injured after a short amount of time

even though he's had some moments where he's been effective this year so yeah

Memphis is really going through it right now they are expecting to get

Jerry Jackson back but of course they've still got

Clark and Stephen Adams out as well so yeah you talked about the other day after

job went down the idea that they could be the six seed in the lottery and this certainly seems to be

turbocharging them in that direction. It does and we'll have to see whether teams

like Portland could jump up. Of course Portland got absolutely shellacked by the Oklahoma City Thunder today, so we'll have to see on that front.
