with Matt Gets, Trump's choice for Attorney General. Shortly after the news broke that Gets would be

Trump's pick for Attorney General, he resigned from the House, where he had served as representative

for Florida's first congressional district since 2017, which some have seen as a sign of confidence that he will be approved for

the position. Yet, Gets' resignation also means that he's no longer under the jurisdiction of the
