What is up everyone? Welcome back to the Epic Gardening podcast. We have an

amazing guest today. I'm really excited and very pleased that she was willing

to come on the podcast and that would be Margaret Roach a lifelong organic

gardener.

She's the founder of A Way to Garden which is the name behind the website, the podcast, author of multiple books including the newly re-released book the title

A Way to Garden. So Margaret, thanks for coming on and it's great to connect with you.

I'm just so glad to finally meet the you know you behind Epic Gardening so it's great yeah I could say

the same thing because I remember when I started out Epic Gardening I think I the

domain name I got in 2013 and I was just kind of looking for

inspiration out there and I was a new gardener really and and your blog was one of the

first ones that came up and so I took a lot of inspiration from you back in those

days and it's very cool to see that now we're

talking to each other. Oh I didn't know that well that's great that's good to

know yeah yeah so I thought maybe before we get into the meat of today's

episode which is kind of talking about how to know what what

animals are eating your plants and it's it really is something that I don't deal with a

whole lot I've battled a skunk and and people who listen to the podcast know that

I've had my battles with that

guy but he's kind of gone now and that's the only real big pest that I have to deal

with but before we get into that I thought maybe you could just give a people the few people who don't know about you a

little bit of background.

Ooh, I've been gardening a long time, 40-ish years and I'm on the East Coast. I grew up in New York City. I've mostly
