Summary

Feelings can be complicated, and often we as adults have a harder time identifying what we're feeling than our kids do. Christi and I chat about how we can provide our children with emotional safety, which the research says is the most important element for children to develop emotionally in a healthy environment. Emotional safety is not woo-woo or abstract. It simply means that your emotions are allowed and you are safe to bring them to someone, but they don't get to be the boss of you.
