What about a Jewish person?

The sincere Jew.

This is a question that gets asked by Larry King

to every Christian who comes on his show.

He says, what about a Jewish person who's a sincere Jew?

You know, what happens to them?

And then the pastor either is open and response. who's a sincere Jew, you know, what happens to them?

And then the pastor either is open and responsive

or they back pedal or whatever they respond.

But what about the sincere Jew?

Do they stand before God righteous because they're genuine and they have the law and they're trying?

Or do they stand condemned? What's the situation?

Now, here we are in Romans chapter 2. We going verse by verse we're going to pick up in

verse 17 and the reason why I prompt it like this with what about the sincere Jew is

because Paul he often does this in his letters where he anticipates objections.

He like makes a case for something and he anticipates how you would object to his case,

the challenge you would bring to him, and then he deals with that challenge.

So that's what he's done. In Romans 2, verse 7. to him and then he deals with that challenge.

In Romans 2, verse 17, he anticipates the challenge.

Yeah, Paul, a lot of people out there are sinners,
