diagnosed with leukemia, which as you might expect, pretty much turned my whole life upside

down from one day to the next. One day I had a life,

I had hopes and dreams for my future, and the next day I found myself lying in hospitals,

starting chemotherapy and having to face a potentially deadly illness. And I clearly remember my

first reaction to that diagnosis, which was not at all the one you might expect. It was not despair or why me.
