So Kate Winslet, very happy, leading the style stakes, flaunting her lithe legs and a little black dress at the 36th London Critics Circle Film Award.

So well done to her. And Danny Boyle's film,

of course, about the Apple founder, Kate appeared in high spirits. She always looks fairly happy.

Why would you not be happy? Somebody pays you for pretending to be somebody else. How much nicer can

that be? I mean, that really is something very, very nice indeed, isn't it? Rosie Huntington Whiteley, we can't just call a Rosie,

wearing a black gown, and she's with her fiancé, I think, Jason Statham.

They were also at the Critics' Choice Award.

They were all there, actually, and she looks good, but then she should do.

She's a model.

If she can't look good, there's no hope for anybody else at all, is there?

She also picked up Top Rise, wearing, I don't know, sort of a funky patchwork sort of dress thing.

Hair's gone a bit of a mess, I'm afraid.

And the collar choky thing doesn't work at all. But

nice to see Dame Judy Dench, giving Kenneth Branagh a huge hug. They're just over the road here

at the Garrick Theatre. Something nice about Judy Dench. I don't know what it is. She just,

it's like her and Maggie Smith and all those sort of people. He said, go on, God, blum me, it's Dame Judy Dench. You know, an absolute, absolute legend.

He's only 55, Kenneth Branagh.

Dame Judy is 81.
