On Wednesday, I traveled three hours to Denver, Colorado to have LASIK corrective surgery performed on my eyes.

I was ready to call this week a wash, since I was certain recuperation time would take at least that long,

but it turned out to be a fabulous week on a number of shores.

The surgery was super easy, five minutes of discomfort and it was over.

The convalescence was even easier.

I was back to writing the next day.

And, best of all, for the first time in ten years,

when my vision was ruined from hours of use with one of those old computer monitors, I can see

again. It feels nothing short of miraculous. I had no reason to think I'd ever be able to see without

glasses or contact lenses.

And now, here I am, with vision better than I had before the glasses, and I only lost one day of

writing.

In anticipation of my convalescence, I skipped the usual how-to video this week, and at the request of a viewer on YouTube, created a short sequel to my popular Y-T tutorial, showing how I use the program once I've typed up all my outline
