we are here to observe the writer's guild of America's Strike

and a special part of this strike was organized by Dr. Rebecca McHendry

of horror writers, and we've got a really esteemed group out here representing.

And this is Postmortem, and I'm Mick Garrus, and we are here

and Rebecca, podcaster, screenwriter, director, most recently of Glorious,

tell us how the idea came together and how you actually brought this world,

this community of horror folks in LA who are very tightly knit.

Yeah, we are a close knit community.

So the idea originally came to me by my co-organizer, Andrew Lowe Bell,

who I know from our dead right horror trivia, our pub horror trivia nights

that we do in Los Angeles once a month.

And he had emailed me and basically said like,

you like organizing things?

Any interest in coming with me on this adventure?

And immediately I was like, you know, every project I've got is on pause right now, of course.
